THE VACATION HOUSE - LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS

Horizonte Mar is a 5,000sqm natural treasure in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park near Ericeira. It is the perfect spot to listen to nature, stargazing, and enjoy birds and chirping crickets. The seaside is 500m from the house, and São Julião beach is a 5-minute drive away. Local attractions include private and group surf lessons, restaurants and beach cafés, all a short drive away. Horseback riding, forest walks and cycle trips are also available nearby.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS
This ground floor house with only teo steps on enrty, has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room/ dining room with fireplace, 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedroom. All rooms have heating.

There are 2 travel cribs which fit in any bedroom. Outdoor space includes, a large terrace with barbecue and wooden oven, a garden with grat lawn and a swimming pool. There are 2 bathrooms with large family showers. There are two sofa beds in the living room.

SPECIALLY FOR THE KIDS
The home is set up for children of all ages, with toys, books, games and DVDs for all. The outdoor play space includes swings, climbing rope, slide and a tree house. On the main side of the house there is a private (unheated) swimming pool and a huge lawn. There are beaches a one-minute drive away.

STYLE NOTES
This is a very bright and light house, fresh in the summer and warm in autumn and winter. The kitchen and dining room have Portuguese tiles on the walls. All bedrooms have at least one colorful wall. The bathrooms have natural light and there are big family showers with a small step to enter for children and adults. We love the outdoor space, drenched with Portuguese sun and with tropical plants and a modern swimming pool, with an original "Porto" drinking step, a fence may be placed and high and thick walls.
